Probably some real hyperlethal bullshit. Think about it. Anything already in service is gonna get onetapped by a sabot fired outta practically any other gun (I think modern 2026 40mm apfsds can lolpen a tiger 2? granted thats 2026 metallurgy and machining.) while anything that cant take era plates is gonna burn from a shaped charge.
purpose designed or otherwise heavyweight armor is gonna be terrifying. its like introducing the terminator into peewee karate. i fully expect a shitty panzer 4 dart to csgo dink off the side of an abrams.
because ww2 combat happens a lot closer up, a LAW goes from self defense antiarmor to genuine terrifying threat to tanks, let alone something like a shitty towski. with that said ERA will buy you time and I have to assume shitty chobham/textolite nera knockoffs are gonna festoon germany heavies.
i'll add that you also have major infrastructural hurdles to getting cold war size MBTs to the field both railways at home and cranes at port, but also european cities and roads of the 40s are just *not* built to deal with big boy armor--also basically no bridges will be able to support anything more than like 40 tons
1. its actually not that many Cert aircraft considering the fleet size. The majority of the pilots and support staff are running training courses, but a decent number are surged to Europe to provide a qualitative edge and solve crises.
2. into 1946
4. yes
5. not quite, olympian is the code word for pre-shift uptime, promethean is post-shift enhanced, epimethean is pre-shift downtime
6. the sensor fusion, range, general situational awareness, lift capability, weapons, all weather capability — they are incredibly powerful which is why are they are getting used to provide overmatch
2. Do museums become a higher priority post-shift since sadly we’ve destroyed tons of history just by scrapping it?
3. How long does whoever runs germanys wild ride last
4. So politically what’s dv gonna be like. For example Tom Clancy is famous for putting conservative views into the spotlight for most of his Jack Ryan’s.
1. i've shown the graphics on twitter but there are several hundred—there were three CVWs and a MAW attached for the exercise. 2. yeah some more ships definitely get saved. 3. Germany will probably fall in early-mid June '46. 4. I think my politics are clear with both the worldbuilding and the characters i've built.
Now I am curious about the armor. Tank vs tank warfare... what will happen?

Just a few thoughts and questions
1. Why is there so many cert aircraft? I would think that they would be saved for training
2. How long does ww2 even last in dvtl
3. I really like the detail it’s pretty good.
4. Do the nazis have helicopters?
5. Olympian is downtimer future tech right?
6. What’s the biggest usage of uptimer aircraft post shift
7. Do the Canadians pre-shift get destroyers again?

1. Yea I saw. I just wanted to make sure cause I haven’t seen you talk about it much lately.
2.i mean yea ,I know your like politics but I more of like is communism more acceptable cause our main enemies are the entente or?
3. How far is the air lore?
4. How does dv start? Like red storm rising straight to the plot or is it framed like a historical novel.
i remember chatter about cargo culting modern kit
and now i have found the perfect example:

Question: Is the narrative shifting back and forth between dates Sept 2 and Sept 12, or are there calendrical highjinks afoot and it's all one night?
oh! that's just a typo
Great stuff man! Really loved it. Honestly thought for a while it was gonna turn into a gothic serpent.

Sentence 2 incomplete at the moment - "The rotors set a ceaseless beat in the."
